Got a chance to watch(and shoot) the first half of the Kingwood vs. West Brook girls game tonight before heading over to Charles St. to catch the second half of the Humble boys game.

The Lady Mustangs were thoroughly dominant once again, this time handing Beaumont West Brook an 8-1 defeat. Recap (here).

Just before halftime at the Kingwood game, I slipped out and headed over to Charles St. to catch the second half of the Humble boys game against Channelview. In the waning minutes with the score tied at one, junior midfielder Will Canas took a beautiful cross from Alberto Padilla and put it in the back of the net to propel the Wildcats to victory.

The Humble girls also picked up a win tonight, taking a 3-1 win at Channelview to turn the tables on the Falcons. Goals from Gloria Mercado (2) and Jamie Dvorak gave the Lady Wildcats the edge.

Full coverage from the K-Park vs. New Caney boys game (here).

What can I do to help you elevate the coverage for the girls and boys soccer teams at Kingwood Park? The coverage has dropped off the radar.
