Observer Sports Blog

Welcome to the Observer’s sports blog. The Observer Newspapers cover nine high schools in four school districts and other youth sports in our communities, and we strive to provide the best local sports coverage in the Houston area.

We will use this blog to highlight stories in our print editions, but more importantly, we will use this space to give up-to-date reports on games and stories involving our teams. We will provide stories that do not make it into the print edition and update stories we have already run. And, from time to time, Joe and I – and other staff writers – will sound off on whatever issues affect high school and community sports fans in the area.
